1-of-a-kind Wrapped Up In Roses Top
Measurements: The Chest is 36” inches around, and can stretch up to 40” inches. The Length from shoulder to bottom is 23.5” inches.
Wow, I am so happy with how this top turned out!! The sleeves are made from a lace tank top that I seam ripped and re-constructed into what you see here. It was a challenge getting the front of back of the tank top formed into equal sleeves, one created a natural hole giving the open shoulder effect, but the other I had to create myself. The rose portion of the top is a medium-thick fabric that has some stretch to it and a sleek finish. The bows are crushed velvet on the top side and more sleek on the underside. They are not sewn on yet, I wanted to leave that decision up to the buyer in case they’d like to have the option to wear it without them for a slightly more casual look. I will gladly sew them into place upon request. (: This one took roughly 5+ hours to create.
A little history on this piece - the rose top in its original form is what I wore for my 16th birthday party!! I thrifted it way back then and have held onto it ever since due to the emotional connection, but after only wearing it another time or two I knew it was time to give it new life and pass it on to someone who would show it even more love <3
