Hello world!! My name is Whitney McGill, and I am the human behind Whitz Fitz (:

I’m a small-town girl from Michigan who has been in love with fashion and thrifting since childhood. Over the years I’ve dabbled in creating my own textile treasures and found it to be one of my favorite pastimes.

I am also extremely passionate about the environment and am thrilled to do anything in my power to decrease my personal waste in this lifetime. Which is why I feel that shopping second-hand and small business is one of the easiest and most impactful ways that we can all reduce waste and spread abundance to real kind-hearted humans who need and deeply appreciate it.

As a life-long nature and fashion enthusiast I longed to find a way to combine all my passions into something more generative and expansive, where I could challenge myself personally and creatively, while also making a positive impact on our precious Mother Earth - thus, Whitz Fitz was born!!!

My hope is to inspire others to shop second-hand, and also lower their consumption as a whole by returning to the classic practice of reuseing and repairing items we already have to give them a refreshed sense of life and love.

My style is eclectic and creative, enchanting every day with the childhood whimsy of playing dress up! I hope you’ll join me in this journey <3
